The Washington Wizards lost more than a game on Saturday. Point guard A.J. Price fractured his right hand and is expected to miss four-to-six weeks, according to Sky Kerstein of 106.7 The FAN.
Price exited after playing just four minutes and registered one assist.
With John Wall also hurt, the Wizards were relying on Price to play point guard. He did a decent job of filling in, as he averaged 9.1 points per game and 5.2 rebounds per game.
Jordan Crawford is expected to see the biggest increase in minutes with Price and Wall out. He finished with 8 assists in Saturday's loss to the Golden State Warriors.
Bradley Beal also contributed six assists of his own in the game. Those two players along with Shaun Livingston are expected to split point-guard duties.
The Wizards fell 101-97 to the Warriors on Saturday. They will try to piece together minutes at point guard on Tuesday against the New Orleans Hornets.
