Wizards Vs. Pistons: Washington Begins Five-Game Road Trip In Detroit

Sunday evening the Washington Wizards (5-22) visit The Palace of Auburn Hills to take on the Detroit Pistons (8-20) in the first game of a five-game road trip.

The Wizards road woes are well documented, and a trip to Detroit, as least in recent history, will do nothing to help the cause. Washington is 1-10 away from home this season, and have lost their last seven matchups in Detroit. The last time Washington won at The Palace was January of 2007.

The Pistons have won four straight games, their longest winning streak since December of 2009. Former Georgetown Hoya Greg Monroe is on a mini-tear for the Pistons. Monroe is averaging 20.0 points and 12.5 rebounds over his past four games, notching a double-double in each of the contests.
