Wizards Vs. Clippers Score Update: Washington Trails 50-47 At Halftime

The Washington Wizards are in the middle of a two-game winning streak on the road and are hoping to extend it to three games with a visit to the Staples Center to take on the Los Angeles Clippers. At halftime, the Wizards trail the Clippers 50-47, but have been on nipping at Los Angeles' heels the entire game. The Wiz went blow for blow with the Clippers in the second quarter as JaVale McGee led Washington in scoring with 13 points and 3 rebounds. Jordan Crawford added 12 points off the bench for the Wizards.

Washington's defense has held Los Angeles in check a bit, limiting Blake Griffin to 10 points and 8 rebounds in the first half, while Caron Butler leads the Clippers in scoring with 11 points at halftime. The Wizards have hit on just two of nine three-point attempts, but trail by just three points. If the Wiz can start getting those shots to fall while keeping it close, they could pick up their third win in a row on the road.
