Nick Young Wants In On The NBA All-Star Game's Three-Point Contest

This from Nick Young's Twitter page this afternoon:

Let swaggy shoot ..... Three Point Shootout

We'll just point out that according to this here chart, Nick Young is currently 52nd in the NBA in three-point shooting (37.7 percent), behind the likes of Kevin Love, Luke Ridnour, Linas Kleiza, and Chris Duhon.

However, that doesn't necessarily mean he's fresh out of luck. Two of the participants in 2011's three-point shootout, Paul Pierce and Dorrell Wright, were invited despite finishing the year outside the Top 60 in three-point shooting.

Having said that, I join my colleagues at Bullets Forever in asking that Nick Young turn his attention to the Slam Dunk Contest instead. Because we all know that he's got the hops.
