Wizards Vs. Hornets: Trades Done, Washington Continues Road Trip In New Orleans

Can the Wizards get a needed win against a struggling New Orleans team on Thursday night?

Presswire

The call the Washington Wizards a struggling team would be an exercise in understatement. Despite inspired play from Trevor Brooker, the Wizards have lost their last three games. They will look to rebound on Thursday night on the road against the New Orleans Hornets, a team with just one more win than Washington.

Brooker had a double-double in the Wizards last outing, a Tuesday night loss to the Dallas Mavericks. Despite the final results, Washington did play the Mavericks pretty close. John Wall also had a double-double in that game.

The Hornets have won their last two games against Washington. Home court may not be much of an advantage for the Hornets, who are just 4-18 at home. They have lost their last two games.

This is the third game in a six-game road trip for Washington.

The game is scheduled for an 8:00 p.m. tip off and will be broadcast locally on Comcast Sports Network.
