The Washington Wizards are coming off of a road win against the New Jersey Nets, and they're finally back home after a tough stretch of six road games in 10 days. On Thursday night, they welcome the Indiana Pacers, a team looking to improve their playoff position, to the Verizon Center.
Indiana are also coming off of a win, over the Los Angeles Clippers. They were 2-6 in the eight games leading up to that one, and they'll be hoping to use the momentum from that Clippers win to build a mini-streak over their next three. Including this game, they have three very winnable games in the next three days before they host the Miami Heat. History is in their favor at the moment; the Wizards have only one back to back games on one occasion this season.
