The Washington Wizards are looking for their second straight win since Nene joined the team. After getting their fifth road win of the season last night n New Jersey, the Wizards came out in the first quarter and jumped all over the Indiana Pacers. Washington took a 34-18 advantage after just 12 minutes - one of their best quarters of the season. In the second quarter, they held the Pacers below 20 points again and extended their lead to 51-31 at the half.
Washington shot 50 percent from the floor, led by Jordan Crawford who poured in 18 first-half points on seven of 11 from the floor. Chris Singleton also had one of his best halves so far this year, hitting two of three from behind the arc and adding ten points. With John Wall leading the break, the Wiz out-scored the Pacers 18-2 in transition. The defensive effort, however, built the double digit lead as they held Indiana to just 32 percent from the floor. Danny Granger has only one point so far. Washington will look to keep the pressure on and convert on their second back-to-back wins of the season.
