Lakers Vs. Wizards: Washington Surges After Halftime, Trails Los Angeles By Just Two Points After Third Quarter

The Washington Wizards, down 15 points at the half to the Los Angeles Lakers, outscored Kobe Bryant and Company 32-19 in the third period, and enter the fourth quarter down just two points.

Trevor Booker and JaVale McGee have been huge for Washington. Booker has 18 points and nine rebounds in 26 minutes of play, and the enigmatic McGee has chipped in 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Kobe Bryant, still wearing his mask, has paced Los Angeles with 25 points on eight of 21 shooting from the floor.
