The Washington Wizards (14-45) managed to erase all the good will of two early week victories over the Charlotte Bobcats abnd Orlando Magic by getting demolished Friday night 103-65 at Madison Square Garden at the hands of the New York Knicks. The Wizards look to regroup Saturday when they welcome the equally woeful Cleveland Cavaliers (19-38) to the Verizon Center in a battle of Eastern Conference cellar dwellers.
The Wizards have won three of their last four games against the Cavaliers, including the last two at the Verizon Center. In the most recent meeting on March 3, Jordan Crawford scored 31 points and John Wall added 24 in a 101-98 victory. In the two games at Verizon Center, Crawford has averaged 26.0 points, 7.0 assists and 6.5 rebounds.
