NBA Mock Draft 2012: UVA's Mike Scott Projected To Be Selected Late In Second Round

Virginia Cavaliers power forward Mike Scott is anxiously awaiting the NBA Draft on June 28. Right now he is trying his best to make sure that he is in position to be drafted. DraftExpress.com currently has the former Cavalier being drafted by the Dallas Mavericks, late in the second round of the draft.

Scott played five years at Virginia, getting a medical redshirt because of his injury during the 2011-12 season. That season he helped Virginia reach their first NCAA tournament since 2007. His senior year he averaged 18.1 points per game scoring along with 8.4 rebounds per game.

DraftExpress.com predicts that in the three picks the Washington Wizards have, they will select Andre Drummond of Connecticut, John Jenkins of Vanderbilt and J'Covan Brown of Texas.
