NBA Summer League play is already well underway for some teams, but those teams participating in the Las Vegas league are just beginning Summer League play on Friday. One of those teams is the Washington Wizards, who open their schedule against the Atlanta Hawks. They'll be playing five games in six days, four of which will be televised.
Rookie and first-round draft pick Bradley Beal headlines the Wizards' Summer League roster. He's joined by second-year players Jan Vesley, Shelvin Mack and Chris Singleton. Veteran newcomers Shavlik Randolph and Garett Siler are also on the roster, along with a host of rookies trying to catch the eye of NBA teams. The entire roster and schedule can be found on the official site of the Washington Wizards. Sam Cassell is the team's head coach.
Tipoff of the Wizards' Summer League opener against Atlanta is at 4:00 p.m. ET on Friday. That game will be broadcast nationally on NBA TV, as well as locally on CSN.
