Jan Vesely Injury: Wizards Forward Leaves Summer League Game After Rolling Ankle

Washington Wizards forward Jan Vesely has been sidelined after rolling his ankle during the first quarter of the team's Summer League game against the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday at Cox Pavilion in Las Vegas. He will miss the remainder of the contest, per the team's official Twitter account.

The injury occurred on a drive to the basket less than two minutes following tip-off. He reportedly left the game for precautionary reasons.

In four games, including four starts, with the Wizards this summer, the 6-foot-11 forward has averaged 9.3 points and and 6.8 rebounds per contest, while playing an average of 29 minutes each game. Over that span, the Wizards have posted an overall mark of 2-2, including Tuesday's 83-77 win over the Memphis Grizzlies.
