2012 NBA Summer League: Wizards Minicamp Begins Monday At Verizon Center

With the draft complete, the NBA offseason continues to roll along, as teams will now hold minicamps prior to sending players to the summer leagues in Las Vegas and Orlando. The Washington Wizards will kick off the offseason fun on Monday at the Verizon Center. A bit more detail on what the mini-camp involves, via Gene Wang of the Washington Post:

Wizards minicamp comprises two sessions each day, one in the morning and other in the evening, except for Thursday, when the team will practice for two hours in the early afternoon. Players then will depart for Las Vegas to participate in the NBA summer league opening on Friday.

14 different players have been invited to take part in the minicamp, including 2012 first round pick Bradley Beal and 2011 first round picks Jan Vesely and Chris Singleton.
